Ooops

Saturday 21 November 2009

I have just been busy almost everyday if it is not working, it is charity, it is also driving lessons, and also looking after my nephew.

Only day I truly have a day off is Saturday even though I am still looking after my nephew which I do not think it is that hard so far. Probably because I am use to looking after him.

First day working at Sainsburys was abit off putting due to one of the workers. He kept saying oh it was so bad working there, oh the department manager is racist and oh this is his part-time job where he works elsewhere too. I DO NOT CARE! He just kept going on and on about stuff which made my day even worst. Lucky enough I did not have to spend most of my time talking to him. At the last hour of the day I was literally on my own, all the workers had left since they only had a shift until 6pm and me at 7pm. So no-one told me how to push the trolleys that you carry milk on away. So I struggled quite bad. I wish we could have music on when there are no customers about. So I was just listening to music in my head whilst it was deserted.

The second and third day was much better since I did not have to stay there until it was deserted as well as the colleague that just talked crap about the job was not there. I tried to work as fast as I could to do all the cheese stock but I still left about 4boxes which I could have checked but I had to go due to looking after my nephew.

Every Tuesday from now on, I have to stay at my sister's takeaway with my nephew since I end at 4pm which would take too long to drive home and back to work for my sister. It was so annoying and boring since my sister could have driven me and my nephew back home at 7pm as it was quiet hour time, my sister's husband said no, it might get busy. Did it get busy? No. So I had to stay there bored out of my mind until 10pm! Whilst we were about to leave my sister's husband said to my sister, "come back soon!". So when my sister dropped me and my nephew off, and went back to work. My sister's husband rang to tell me that my sister did not have to go back to work that day since it is closing time almost. ROAR! WTF! That is so stupid! Could have rang earlier! Noooo, you had to tell my sister to come back soon back to work!

I am pretty pissed off at my sister's husband! He does the dumbest things and annoys me to hell! I thought "brother-in-law"s was suppose to be alright but not annoying! He is probably 10 times more annoying than my brother! My brother is not that bad but I had to have some reference to show how bad.

At the moment, my sister's husband stays at the takeaway above to make to easier to set up the food the next day. So, my sister's husband needed to go to town to get something signed, but my sister cannot drive him as she needs to look after her baby whilst I go to charity. He complained to my sister about "why did I need to go to the Charity?". What this heck? So I have to make MY LIFE to revolves around him! I think not!

I would like to try to work full-time at a job which I want to do with my career but because I am basically a full-time nanny, I can't. So I shall just keep on going with my charity volunteers, part-time job, and driving lessons until the time is better where my sister can look after my nephew at work.

Oh, my aunt (my mum's sister) is pregnant but at the early stages so just have to wait :) So my aunt's future baby would be an aunt/uncle to my nephew hahaha!

Roar!

Monday 9 November 2009

Argh! I am so angry at the moment! I try to do EVERYTHING my parents want me to. Find a job, driving, charity and many more stuff. So what do I do? Yes, I do everything they WANT me to do.

So just about 5minutes ago, my dad tells me to go to his room and look at the computer, I thought it would be just about his computer issues. But no, it was about finding a job! What the frick?!? I just got a job at Sainsbury's and now you want me to find a different job?!?! I have not even started my first shift at Sainsbury's yet.

All the financial, marketing, accounting type of jobs require me to have enough work experience which I do not have enough of so I am trying to get work experience by working at Sainsbury's! Of course, I do not plan to work there forever as that would be a waste of my degree, but I need to start somewhere if no-one wants to hire me.

I know my dad is trying to be helpful but he keeps ignoring the fact that all the companies I applied to REJECTED me due to work experience. So I am trying to build my work experience!

Roar roar roar!

Skin in my mouth?

Saturday 7 November 2009

Does anyone get a huge amount of skin peeling off in their mouth?
It is usually in the lining on all the inner lip and gums? I tend to have it every several months at a time which last for over 2weeks. I do not believe it has to do with me changing my toothpaste as I have been using Sensodyne for years now.

I have not had the routine skin peeling yet but it usually does tend to start during winter season.

Below is a picture of my skin from my mouth. Sometimes the skin in my mouth is very long; peeled from one side to the other side of my mouth.

Same old same old

Friday 6 November 2009

Today, I went to volunteer for RSPCA as usual. I did mainly stock taking, putting up new stock, steaming and I stayed on the tills for longer today; due to the lady that is usually on it, left earlier than last week. I would have done more stuff during my time there but I was going way too fast for the supporting manageress to have any stuff for me to put out.

Hmm, hopefully Sainsbury's would be busy busy as I hate to waste time. But I do not mind using my time to help in any way for the customers :)

2nd Induction day

Wednesday 4 November 2009

Second induction day at Sainsbury's was similar to first day. In the training room, where we learn more about Sainsbury's security, Think25 policy, pests, different replenishment tickets. We had a go at replenishment at Fresh department which is where I would be at. It was pretty cold especially with no gloves. I had customers coming up to me asking me where items where which I had no idea.

I got extra stuff with my uniform due to which department I shall be working at; includes knife (to cut boxes open not very sharp for obvious reasons), gloves and an extra jacket as it tends to get cold in the Fresh food department.

During the evening when I am back home, my "aunt and uncle" came to help look after my nephew whilst I was at the induction. Since my sister has to work from 4pm onwards, I would not be back from induction by that time as the induction took from 9-5pm.

1st Induction day

Tuesday 3 November 2009

It is a whole day in this training room but with several activities where we had to get up to the front and back of the store.

It was about issues about Sainsbury's health and safety, history of Sainsbury's, products and layout of the store, serving customers and many more stuff. It was an alright day, just listening and meeting new colleagues who might not be in my department though since this day and tomorrow is mainly training.

We had to either bring our own food or buy it from the canteen or buy it from Sainsbury's store but keep receipt for proof to bringing it to the canteen to eat. I knowing it is me, I brought my own sandwich. It was so boring at lunchtime, everyone was bloody quiet! I kept trying to make conversations and everyone just gave me mainly one word answer. T_T, I do not know what to talk about roar!

It started about 10ish but we sort of was together at 9am but everyone was late. We ended at 5pm and I had to talk to the bus which took 1:30hours! But what do you expect during rush hour.

So I got my uniform to bring home whilst we were all leaving. Oh my gosh, I am part of a multi-corporation firm now!

My working hours are not bad, but I am also babysitting after work... bah! Not bad but tiring.

Fast Reply!

Monday 2 November 2009

I got an email at 09:43 from Sainsbury's. "Following on from your recent interview, we are delighted to confirm that you have been successful in your application.". What? What does this mean...? I got the job?

So I rang the number about 11am, they asked me about a bunch of questions to confirm and details about my references. They also told me I have to do an induction days, which is... tomorrow and Wednesday! Fast I know! I just had an interview on Saturday and response already on Monday.

They told me I could wear casual wear no trainers nor jeans. So I shall be wearing my Burberry top and some black trousers.

Hmm, what time do I have to wake up to be there at 9am? Perhaps I shall wake up at 6am to be sure.

What should I do?

My sister who wants me to babysit her child for a while, so does my 3year studying goes to waste? She is probably going to make me look after him until he can walk and that is a long time away still.

So what should I do?

Part-time job with flexible hours? Be a full time babysitter?

I am pretty confused. I do not mind helping out my sister with babysitting but as a full-time job? So my studying of Accounting-Information Systems there is no point for it?

I hope I do get a job at Sainsbury's, as it is part-time but I could hopefully do over-time. As it could provide me many opportunities for me due to my situation for the time being. I would have to get up extra early but I would do that to work at any job.

Sucking on toes

Sunday 1 November 2009

Lately, my nephew has started to suck on his toes once he has a hold of them. Everytime he gets a nappy change, he would use that as an opportunity to go suck on his toes. Just today, he decided to lick all over his feet; the feet part where it can reach his tongue to.
