He is officially loving the play tunnel! You can hang your other toys there so he is loving it even more. He has not been on his belly in the play tunnel to look at all the different colours that much since he was moaning about it. Due to not experiencing on his belly on the play mat.
Recently, he has discovered his own feet. He constantly grabs his own feet whilst on the bed, baby bouncer and even whilst changing his nappy. He likes to play with his hands also but he discovered his own hands about a few days more.
He loves it so much

Nappy Routine
Sunday, 18 October 2009
Before every feed time, I always change his nappy. Whilst a bottle is warming up the formula, I go and change my nephew and when I come back for the fomula it usually perfect warmth. Sometimes I do change my nephew after a while after his feed depending if he cries to be changed. As I would not feel great with dirty nappy on me either.
There is a good guide with pictures of how this family changes their child's nappy click here. Only difference that I do compared to them is we use cotton wool with clean water to wipe his bottom not baby wipes. Also we use Sudocrem for his bottom and anywhere that is red when he is about to sleep.

3rd Injection
Friday, 16 October 2009
Aww, poor baby he had his 3rd injection which includes 3 doses of injection into his 2 thighs. This time, he was wide awake so he would be alert for it, ouch.
When we went to our GP for the injection, he was playing happily with the toys provided in the waiting room. We were called to go get the injection. Slowly undressing his trouser down to get to his thighs, still he was happy looking around the room. Suddenly a prick to his thighs, and a dose of scream came afterwards. He does not know what happened but all he knows is that it hurts. I tried to distract him with noises coming out of my mouth. But all he cares about is how much it hurts, so he screams with pain whilst we can only do is wait until all the pricks was over. After it was over, blood poured out onto his onesie but still he was crying for he did not know what happened to him. When the nurse picked him up, he was once again distracted so he forgets why he was crying for.
I was a bit unsure about what would happen when I give him a bath later today. So I gently stroked his 2 thighs but no screams at all came. Therefore I knew it would find to give him a bath in the evening.
Today, before the dreaded injection for the baby I went to the Charity shop to volunteer but I forgot that helping in RSPCA. I am not saying I hate animals as I hate cruelty to all living things but I am not fond of animals as scared of being scratched and bitten and all. Well I like the manager there so might as well do some volunteering there. All I mainly did was steam clothes, funny thing she said but was vital for people to know is they do not sell knickers! Eew gross, I wonder if anyone gave charity a fricking knickers!... I bet they have.

Rolley Polley
Thursday, 15 October 2009
My nephew rolled over by himself for the first time yesterday! I taped it but it is not for non-relatives to see :P It was so good to see him roll over for the first time! So clever, I am hoping to teach him sign language to tell us what he wants/needs as sometimes it is difficult to know what he wants to do. I shall follow what this lady wrote which is ever so good and her child is so intelligent!
Comment to give me advice to teach to my nephew if you want.
Massage the baby daily, very good for babies. A health visitor recently came to our house to check up on my nephew and my sister, and ask us if we massaged him as he looks glossy cheeks. :3 My doing for the massaging my nephew's cheeks. I did not read up that it is good for the baby to massage them. I just wants to massage his adorable cute cheeks and every time I do it he just loves it with a big smile.

What's up with your hair?
Wednesday, 14 October 2009
Why do people like to put their hair parting so far to one side that it looks unnatural? Okay, to try put the hair parting to one side but not so far to the side that it looks as if you are wearing a wig!
Look at this hairstyle whilst I was on the internet browsing I can't remember what site but this looks so unnatural.
I just can't see how that would work in public of outside. It would look as if the wind had blown their hair like that.
Well, I just have to get use to the fact that people think that looks good. For me, that would just look too fake and forced the hair parting to be like that. Even though, I have got quite a big forehead, I would never consider to do a hair parting which is not comfortable for me.

Nose cauterised
Saturday, 10 October 2009
I just had this procedure done to me today.
At first, they put some local anesthetic on a cotton wool and stuffed in both of my nose hole.
I had to wait in the waiting room for about 3minutes to let the anesthetic do it's magic.
Then I was brought back to the doctors room, where he used some sort of stick onto my nose. From the looks on the internet research, I think it is probably silver nitrate. I felt some sort of stick scraping onto my nose cartilage.
After the procedure had been done, my gosh I could not sneezing! I sneezed about 5times within 1minutes in the doctors room afterwards.
I was told to use Naseptin Nasal cream daily on my nose to stop any infection to occur. It sure does smell quite bad.
Damn, ever since I had my nose done, my nose keeps on running with liquid snot.
Urm, not sure if the treatment has done well as at the moment, I have a freaking nosebleed already! I guess it takes time to heal though.
Well, I'll try to update you guys on how my nose is.

Looking after a baby
Monday, 5 October 2009
It is not as easy as it looks.
Next week, I am babysitting everyday for my sister as she is going to 100% own one of my dad's shop. It is going to be tough like hell. I know as I am already babysitting on certain days for almost a whole day and it takes a toll on the guardian/parent(s) looking after the child.
It is unpredictable what a baby need at certain times. Sometimes it is okay, since you know that the child might have not eaten in certain hours so it would be feeding time but other than that hard to know what the problem is.
I think the MAIN points which a baby might need is:
Feed
Sleep
Changing Nappy
Burping/Wind
Comfort/Playtime
There are probably more but my brain is not functioning 100% at the moment, but those points are about correct.
ALWAYS note down what time the baby eats! Luckily at home, we have a white board nailed on our door that we recently bought before my sister had her child. I would recommend anyone to buy some sort of whiteboard, as you can rub off the times about how much and time the baby feeds at.
Sometimes a baby wants to sit/lay on their own, we have a baby bouncer and my nephew likes to sometimes sit in there and not be picked up constantly.
If a baby cries and you have done most of the points, most likely to be WIND. It is hard to check for WIND as it sometimes takes a while for the child to be winded down. Sometimes it takes a good half an hour for them to burp. (NOTE! My nephew does not cry for over half an hour to be burped).
BE CAREFUL about breast feeding, as for a temporary babysitter, it is hard for my nephew to settle down for sleep at night without my sister's nipples now. For some reason, my nephew does not like his dummy.
I'll talk more about baby stuff about my nephew another time. Ciao!

Moo
My brother is going to Cambridge today to start his first year at Cambridge College. I shall not tell you what course he is doing as there's probably only a few Chinese people doing that course ha ha ha!
Yesterday was hectic for me, I sorted out all of my brother's stuff which he was going to bring to university. Hopefully I have not left anything out. I used this guide from thestudentroom.co.uk which helped dearly, Cheers!
But they forgot to add to bring SNACKS, ha ha! I added some snacks for my brother in his tupperware; I'm not too sure if he would kill me or not for not listening to him to not bring snacks for him to eat. Well, I added quite a few extras in my brother's luggages, boxes and bags which would hopefully help him.
